String combination and surge protection built for large-scale outdoor solar arrays.
Our Solar DCDB units are made for permanent exposure in open-field conditions. Enclosures are supplied in polycarbonate or 1.5 to 2.0 mm CRCA sheet at IP65, sealed against dust and monsoon ingress and rated for 45 degrees Celsius ambient. Every unit is dielectric and insulation-resistance tested before dispatch.
A solar DCDB combines the output of multiple photovoltaic strings into a single DC feed to the inverter while protecting each string separately. Units are rated for 1000 V and 1500 V array voltages and use 10 x 38 gPV fuses sized for photovoltaic duty, with Class-II surge protection devices guarding against lightning transients travelling down the array. String monitoring is available as an option, allowing the performance of individual strings to be tracked without a site visit.
