Automatic changeover between mains and standby generator, with no manual intervention.
Our Auto Mains Failure panels are built around DSE or Woodward controllers and switching devices selected for AC-3 duty, so the changeover contactors are rated for the inductive load they actually carry. Panels are fabricated from 2.0 or 3.15 mm CRCA sheet in modular or fixed construction, with mechanical and electrical interlocks that make a simultaneous mains and generator connection impossible.
An AMF panel monitors the incoming utility supply continuously. On failure it signals the standby generator to start, waits for voltage and frequency to stabilise, then transfers the load automatically. When mains returns and holds, the panel transfers back and shuts the set down after a cooling run. Auto, manual and test modes are provided, every fault is logged for diagnostics, and the panel is offered for sets up to 1000 KVA. A synchronising variant is available where two or more sets must share load.
